The Kiwanis Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor is excited to announce their 2025 St. Joseph Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship recipients. The Foundation was established in 1965 by Kiwanis member Myron Wolcott and has presented scholarships each year, granting more than $1 million to local high school seniors.
Kiwanis members are extremely proud to support the youth in our community with these scholarships. The recipients are all Key Club members, and they are receiving $1,000 with the opportunity to reapply for three more years, totaling $4,000 over four years. The recipients are: Clara Fast and Riddhi Patel of Bridgman High School; Josie Boldt, Mia Bradley, and Helaina Mihalik of Lakeshore High School; and Olivia Harris and Mariah Jhala of St. Joseph High School.
The Kiwanis Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor is recognized for partnering with the community to open the all-abilities Kaleidoscope Playground at Kiwanis Park, its volunteer efforts at the local soup kitchen, and for organizing a fall festival for area foster children and their families. The club also fosters the development of future leaders by sponsoring Key Clubs for students at Bridgman, Lakeshore, and St. Joseph high schools, and Builders Club at Upton Middle School.
