This event provided a delicious boost to the club’s efforts to raise funds for local projects, including the Kaleidoscope Playground at Kiwanis Park.
Club members volunteer to set up and clean up the room, “mix and flip” cook sausages, make coffee, pour juice, and share a smile. Friendship and fellowship abound, and as the saying goes, “A Good Time IS Had By All” at this twice-yearly event.
What is Kiwanis? We are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds, and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive.
Our club was interested in hearing from Lisa Altman of Great Lakes Training Center (pictured with Kiwanis member Mike Ryan) about a new facility that offers athletic opportunities for our kids in the community.
