Serving The Community

Our members participate in various volunteer activities to embody the Kiwanis mission, which is to make the world a better place for children, one child and one community at a time. Some of these include:

  • St. Joseph Fall Festival (on the bluff).  We provide small pumpkins for kids to decorate with stickers and offer a pumpkin bag toss game with prizes.

  • Soup Kitchen – members volunteer to assemble and serve lunches to Food Pantry Guests.

  • Trunk or Treat – A Fall Festival for area foster children and their foster families, offering a free dinner, trick-or-treating, inflatables, and other games.

  • Wonderland Toy Store – an exceptional shopping experience for families unable to afford Christmas gifts for their children.

Senior Gift Boxes

One week, we assembled the “Safety Kits.”

Later, we assembled and wrapped the combined items, turning them into Holiday Gifts for seniors who receive Meals on Wheels.

  • Blossomland Learning Center School Store
Our members, the Key Clubs at Bridgman, Lakeshore, and St. Joseph High School, and our Builders Club at Upton Middle School (St. Joseph Public Schools), provide both items and monetary donations since this school does not have a PTA .

  • Salvation Army Bell Ringing

  • Kiwanis Tiny Tots Park in Saint Joseph, MI, is a charming outdoor recreational area designed for young children to explore and play in a safe environment.

With a variety of play structures and open spaces, this park offers a fun, engaging experience for families looking to spend quality time outdoors.
