Alexandra (Alex) Newman, Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the Area Agency on Aging, Region IV, has been with the agency for the past 3 years.
The Area Agency on Aging serves Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties. Their mission is to offer seniors choices to live happy, independent lives. They are “a one-stop shop” for people of any age who need help or advice with aging, whether a senior, a caretaker, a family member, or a friend.
Alex reviewed many of the services they offer, including professional referrals, assistance with resources and aids to stay at home, caregiver support, day services, food assistance, and Dementia and Parkinson’s support.
