Intalia Bar, Restaurant & Pizzeria

Co-owner and Chef Aravind Ale was born in India, where his love of cooking started in his family’s kitchen. He always believed in food and community and is now a co-owner of Intalia Restaurant (a combination of the words Indian and Italian). The restaurant will serve fusion foods from Italy and India. “Not too spicy but very flavorful,” says Aravind.

They also have a banquet hall available for parties and celebrations for up to 200 people. Besides a new roof, he hasn’t changed much of the décor from the former Santaniello’s. “We appreciate that many people loved Santaniello’s, and we wanted to honor that,” he said. 

“Coming to Michigan was part of my American dream,” said Aravind. “I became a proud American citizen in August of 2025.”
