Brian Carroll, PhD. Brian leads a Historical Preservation Trust for the “Israelite House of David”. Brian reviewed a lengthy history of the “House of David”, and an organization that split off in 1930, the “Mary’s City of David”. Brian gave an excellent review of these two “colonies, really communes.” Currently, there are no remaining religious members of the House of David, and there is only one member of the City of David left. Brian’s job as curator for the House of David is to preserve its history and educate the public about the important role this “commune” played in our community. He also wants to make sure the collections are available to other scholars for future studies.
